  We had All Climate Solutions here today to service and check an issue with our 30 year old ducted gas heating. The furnace kept switching on and off every minute or so. They were able to fix the issue, but when they left I found the fan on the unit would no longer turn off. Even when the unit was turned off at the thermostat the fan would continue to run. I rang them immediately only to be told that fan was faulty and I would need to replace the entire unit at a cost of $2400. Basically the unit was in worse shape when they left that it was when they arrived.
  
  5 minutes of googling later I found the likely issue was the fan control in the unit. I took the service panel off the and after a bit of hunting around found the fan switch. They had changed it from auto to manual (i.e. always on).
  
  I have no issue with them leaving the fan on the wrong setting. Everyone makes mistakes. But their response when I rang them left me fuming. After ringing them back again they told me they were sending someone back to check it, but that should of been their response from the outset. If I could diagnose the issue with 5 minutes on google these professionals should have had a better response than installing a new unit.
  
  I've given them 2 stars instead of 1 as the service up until my phone call was excellent. Shame about how it went from there.
